Axel Carrington

‘Clock Without Hands’ is the 3rd solo album from Perth guitarist Axel Carrington (NEW TALK). Recorded at the end of a challenging year, the album reflects on the nature of time flowing ever through, acknowledging in its wake how destructive and accepting this can be in equal measure. Tributes abound to the personal and the universal, all in the signature whimsical fashion one can expect from the WAMI-award winning axeman.

Axel’s work touches upon references as diverse as Joni Mitchell, John Fahey, Carson McCullers & harsh Victorian winters, all played in his style melding folk, classical, jazz and sound collage, framed through his open tuned guitar.
