What do Volunteers do at the Festival?

Well, almost everything!
Apart from the few contracted positions, the Fairbridge Festival is organized, set up and run by approx. 250 volunteers. They do a variety of tasks that make the Fairbridge Festival renowned for its family ethos and community spirit.

Over half of the Festival volunteers work during the Festival from the front ticket office & entry, to the roles of venue managers, merchandise and raffle ticket sellers, assisting artists in Artist Central or running a workshop in the Kids Craft Club. The other portion of volunteers will be working to set up and decorate the site from Monday to Wednesday pre Festival and to clear up the site on the Monday post festival. All our volunteers help to make the festival run smoothly and be the best that it can possibly be!

Apart from being fun, it is also a great place to acquire new skills whilst still being able to enjoy the performances in nurturing surroundings. Being a volunteer is a great way to meet a community of other like-minded individuals, where friendships and memories are made and remembered for a lifetime.

Who can volunteer?
