Venue Details

The Marquee (near the Chapel) and the Riverside Stage (in the paddock behind the Clubhouse) are the two biggest concert stages and host our major concerts from Friday night through to Sunday night.

The Clubhouse hosts intimate concerts and special presentations. Please no food or drink in this venue - we have to be very kind to this historic hall. The west wing of the Clubhouse is our Club West venue catering mainly to kids and families, and the Kid's Tent is right next door with a full program of concerts and shows. The Clubhouse kitchen is the home of the Go for 2 & 5 Youth cooking classes.

The Loft (upstairs Clubhouse) is a smaller intimate venue. No food or drink, kick off your shoes at the door – she’s an old lady, we have to treat her gently!

The Chapel provides fabulous acoustics for singers and hosts concerts featuring mainly vocal music.

The Retreat is the festival name for the building shown on Village maps as the Community Education Centre. This is the home of the festival workshop program, and the Go for 2 & 5 Children’s cooking classes

The Dining Room will host cabaret-style performances and concerts, with a leaning towards the Blues and comedy.

Our Dance Stage hosts dance performances and workshops by day, and a multicultural mosh-pit by night!

Youthopia is our dedicated youth-oriented venue, located behind Nightingale Cottage.

Ruby's Wine Bar is our cabaret-style venue, located on the lawn behind Fairbridge House. The bar is adjacent to this, behind Heath Cottage.

The BBQ area for programmed events is in front of the Clubhouse next to the swimming pool.

The Village Amphitheatre hosts percussion workshops and the parade rehearsal.

The Choc 'n' Chai Tent is an independently operated venue serving chai tea and hot chocolate in Youthopia and hosting unamplified blackboard concerts and workshops all weekend in nearby Seedbox. Sign up for impromptu performances.

Instrument lock-up and artists' central
This facility for festival artists is located on the southern side of the Marquee. It is not open to the public.

Safety - fires
Sorry, absolutely no campfires or any other kinds of open fire, anywhere. It's too risky with closely spaced camping, and the near-certainty of dry conditions. There are free gas fired BBQs in Kingsley Park.

The festival shop adjoins the Marquee. This is the place to buy your festival T-shirts, other souvenirs, raffle tickets, CDs of performers, and our own compilation CD.

Parade
Every year we hold a huge samba parade on the Sunday afternoon – everything stops for it. Come and be part of it!
