Ticket questions

I do not have a credit card or cheque book. How do I purchase tickets?
Please contact the Festival Office for more information.

Is our internet credit card payment system secure?
We have adopted all the latest security recommendations and believe the SeatAdvisor system meets current best practice.

Why do I need to purchase a Family ticket if my children who are under 13 have free entry?
Although children under 13 are free, they still require a valid ticket to gain entry to the festival. Four wristbands will be exchanged for a family ticket.

Do those on a family ticket need to be all in one family?
No, any two adults and any two children between 5 and 17 can use a family ticket. For example grandparents may team up with their grandchildren, or a Mum, Dad or child can bring a friend.

All people on our family ticket will not arrive at the same time. How do we get in?
We encourage you to arrive at the same time as only one e-ticket will be issued for the family price. Your e-ticket will be exchanged for 4 wrist bands and you can make arrangements to meet those in your group who are not arriving with you at the front gate.

What age qualifies for a child ticket?
This year children up to 12 years have free entry and camping but you still need a ticket for them.

What age qualifies for a youth ticket?
A youth is between the age of 13 and 17 years.

Does an 18 year old who is still a student qualify for a youth ticket?
No, but a student card holder qualifies for an adult concession price.

At what date is my age qualification determined?
The day on which you arrive at the festival is the date on which your age qualification is determined, not the date of ticket purchase.

What qualifies me for an adult concession?
We accept Health Care Cards (but not Commonwealth Senior Health Cards), Pensioner Concession Cards (Centrelink & Veterans’ Affairs) and tertiary Student Cards. We ask that you have your card ready to show on entry.

Does a National Seniors Card or State Government Senior’s Card qualify me for an adult concession?
No, sorry, National Seniors is a club which anyone over 50 years old can join. A State Senior’s Card is available to anyone over 60 (in WA at least). We try to limit concessions to those with some evidence of reduced income.

When can I expect to get my tickets?
An e-ticket will be issued which you can print on your own printer.

Will tickets be available at the gate?
Yes, at the standard price.

Will camping be available at the gate?
Yes, if not sold out prior to the start of the event.

Camping questions

How will I know where to find my camping spot once inside the gate?
We have volunteer vehicle marshals along the roadways and entries to the camping areas. There will also be Camping Monitors who will be camped within camp areas to assist and access ways will be signed.

What if I forget some of my camping gear?
There will be a limited number of basic camping items for sale in the Merchandise Shop.

Can I purchase grocery items and ice on site?
Yes, the Fairbridge Village Café (south side of entry) sells those forgotten items and ice.

Can I drive my car to the campsite?
There is only room for one car per family-sized group in the camp area. If you have two cars you will have to leave one of them in the car park (paddock) outside the gates. If you are camping on the Oval then you will have to leave your car outside and carry in all your gear.

Can I camp with my friends?
Yes, you can save camping spaces for your friends but it will make life easier if you try to arrive together. Space can only be saved for a limited time.

Can I go into town to get extra provisions during the festival?
Yes, however, we encourage you to stock up with groceries before arriving to limit vehicle movement for the safety of others. Vehicle movement is restricted after 6.00pm to festival and emergency vehicles only.
