Welcome to the children’s art area, Paper Scissors Rock!
The Paper Scissors Rock children’s art program at Fairbridge Festival strongly emphasizes using natural materials as a means of educating children, parents and others in alternative practices that encourage play, investigation and respect towards the planet.
The experiences the children have through their exploration in the arts allows for comparisons outside the festival, comparisons that allow a child to develop ideas and values towards their own experience and the way they want to live in the world community.
This year’s program has moved further towards compostable art practices so as to also support the festival environment, and to become responsible for the waste generated with the 1000 participants that are expected in Paper Scissors Rock.
All ages are welcome to explore and participate in Saturday and Sunday workshops.
