Children’s festival

The 2012 Children’s Festival is shaping up to be our biggest and best yet. This year’s enchanting program is sure to delight those young and old. Artists who will bring their musical and charismatic flare to the Children’s Festival include:

Jugularity – Old favourites back for a laugh and a giggle
Flying Heart – Productions Inspiring theatrical clowning
Tjupurru – Amazing didjeridu and face bass
The Chipolatas – They’re back! High-octane music, theatre and dance
Kwela Swingsters – Township jive from 1960s South Africa
Wadumbah Aboriginal Dance Group – south west Noongar traditional dances
Jenny Thomas – Trad Australian songs and stories for young and old
Su Hart – Hilarious, quirky story-songs with rhythm and fun
Mucky Duck Bush Band – Perth’s very own bush band
Tang-e-Lang -  Play with things that bang, twang and rattle
Sensational Storytelling – Perfectly putrid Pirate Penelope’s telling tales again
Glenn B Swift – That trickster’s at it again. Fun and games for all.
Suitcase Circus – Learn some cool new circus skills!
Rocket Girl – Help Rocket Girl shoot her famous rockets
Go for 2 & 5 Cooking – Whip up something tasty for lunch

Paper Scissors Rock will be sure to delight with interactive art experiences for children of all ages.

Mother Hen’s Coop will be back in full flight. Find this little piece of quiet on Belfast Lawn for feeding and changing your babies and toddlers.
