Dear Fairbridge Festival fans,
As you probably know, 2012 is a big year for the festival, with its 20 year anniversary celebration. I have been commissioned to lead the choir and at the moment I am working with the fabulous Bunbury performance poet Kate Wilson, to write into a tune, some words to express how people feel about the festival.
SO, we’d like your help. Can you please email to us any stories, feelings, well wishes, etc…so that we can turn this into a masterpiece for the people, by the people. We need your input to make it really strong. Why you love it so much, what role the festival has played in your life! Anecdotes are good! As this is an artistic process we don’t know exactly how it will be used and what it will become, which is pretty exciting!
