Ticket prices and terms and conditions

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE

Sales are made through the Moshtix web-based ticketing system.

  • A ticketing fee will be added to your purchase ($2.50 per ticket + 1% credit card fee)
  • E-ticket(s) can be printed on your own printer
  • Tickets are printed in the name of the patron that is entered at time of purchase
  • If you are purchasing on behalf of others you will need to make separate purchases for each ticket holder except in the case of family ticket purchase
  • Family ticket holders are encouraged to arrive at the same time. Wristbands will be issued to the ticket holder only
  • Choose your ticket requirements carefully (see cancellations, refunds and exchanges below)
  • Each ticket holder must show ID (a current Australian driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card) upon entry
  • If you are not already on our database, your purchase will automatically register you unless you advise us otherwise
  • Camping is purchased as part of a combined Festival Weekend & Camping ticket (see Camping Essentials info)
  • Individual campsites in all camping areas are not allocated, so first in, best spot!
  • If you are a volunteer wishing to camp in Kingsley Park, see Volunteer info page
  • There are ‘no vehicle movement’ areas in Rivergrounds, The Fields and Kingsley Park
  • Tickets will be available from the box office at the festival at the gate price.
  • Family Tickets are not available at the gate (online pre-purchase only)
  • All valuables and personal property remain the responsibility of the ticket holder.

Email our Festival Office ticketing@fairbridgefestival.com.au until 5.00pm 22 March 2012. The following charges apply:

  • Camping component of ANY Camping and Festival Weekend Ticket is non-refundable
  • Bus tickets are non-refundable
  • The program is subject to change at short notice due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control. Refunds will not be offered where there is dissatisfaction with a change or the event does not meet your expectations. In the unlikely situation that the event needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, refunds will not be offered.
  • Keep your tickets in a safe place. Lost or stolen tickets will not be re-issued at the event. If your ticket is lost or stolen prior to the festival, contact Moshtix on 1300 438 849.

Entry

Festival organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who:

  • Cannot produce a valid e-ticket
  • Cannot produce suitable photographic ID (a current Australian driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card) – Student cards are acceptable
  • Produces an e-ticket that has been purchased or obtained through an unauthorised source or through illegal means
  • Produces an e-ticket that has been duplicated
  • Is in possession of, and refuses to surrender, any prohibited or illegal object

Entry through the gate will be made easier if you have your e-ticket, photo ID, concession card (if applicable) and accommodation passes in your hand, ready for processing. Gates open 10.00 am Friday 13 April 2012.

Minors (under 18 years of age)

All minors entering and attending the Fairbridge Festival and Fairbridge Village site must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. A ‘responsible adult’ means a parent, step-parent, spouse, de facto partner, legal guardian or any other person in loco parentis to the minor. A person in loco parentis must be able to fulfill the normal functions of a parent concerning supervision of a minor(s). An older brother or sister or friend of the minor(s) is not necessarily considered a ‘responsible adult’.

Age

  • Ages are taken from the date of entry to the festival
  • Proof of age may be requested any time throughout the duration of the festival

Wristbands

Do not remove your wristband during the festival. Wristbands will not be re-issued.

Program Books

Adult, adult concession and youth tickets include 1 free program book issued on entry. A family ticket includes two program books. Additional books are available for purchase at the Welcome Tent and Merchandise Shop.

Security

Festival Organisers reserve the right to evict any person who:

  • is not wearing a Festival wristband
  • does not comply with the Terms and Conditions as outlined
  • in the case of a minor being evicted, the accompanying responsible adult will also be required to leave the site
  • is in possession of any illegal item. Vehicles and carry bags may be searched prior to entry to the Festival Precinct
  • is involved in any illegal activity, including underage drinking. The offender will have their wristband removed, the matter referred to the Police, and will be escorted from the festival site
  • is behaving in a manner that unreasonably interferes with another patron’s enjoyment of the Festival
  • is causing damage or threatens the safety of other people on the site
  • possesses flares or fireworks.

Alcohol

  • There are 3 licensed areas for the purchase and consumption of alcohol. Consumption is not permitted outside of the licensed areas. BYO is not permitted.
  • Any person found involved in underage drinking will have his/her wristband removed and will be escorted from the site.

Fire ban

There is a total fire ban at all times. Strictly no open fires of any kind, flares or fireworks. Anyone possessing them will be removed from the site.

Smoking

The Festival Precinct is smoke free.

Footwear

Footwear is compulsory at all times.

Pets

No pets are allowed at Fairbridge Village, no matter how small, cute or quiet.

Sound/video recordings of performances cannot be made for commercial use without prior written consent of the festival organisers.

Safety and parking

  • Bring a torch for safe night walking, this is a rural site with uneven ground and gum nuts from the many trees
  • Parking is provided for Day visitors outside the festival gate
