Artist transport

If you are flexible with time between Friday evening and Sunday evening, have a reliable car, can meet and greet artists at Perth domestic airport, then this can be a very pleasant way to share your ride to the festival site. Confirmation of exact times not available until close to the event. Drivers must be 25 years or older with a current drivers licence.

Campsite monitors

Monitor 1 Friday 2 x 4.5 hr shifts

You would be helping people orient themselves, manage their placement within the festival camping areas, and explain resource, recycling and waste management and facilities. Your friendly disposition, easy going nature and problem solving personality will be a great asset. You will also assist as a vehicle marshal during peak arrival time in your assigned area. You will need to have your own camp set up by no later than 10.00 am Friday of the festival and be available on mobile.

Monitor 2 Saturday and Sunday with a very flexible schedule

Would you like a prime camping spot for the whole weekend and be a camp monitor for the festival camping areas? A friendly disposition, easy going and good at problem solving. You and a crew will be assigned to monitor the festival camping areas, this will be your ‘baby’ to make sure the campers are educated about keeping their camping grounds clean and litter free and that everyone is a happy camper! Your commitment will be to ensure we achieve our ‘Respect the Village – Leave No Trace’ aim. Also monitoring showers and toilets (no cleaning just a reporting role).

You will need to have your own camp set up by no later than 10.00 am Friday of the festival and be available on mobile. These monitor 2 roles will be offered free camping as well as entry to the festival, as we need commitment that you will be on call and work in with our Production team. There’ll still be plenty of time to see the festival program though!

You can volunteer for both Monitor 1 and Monitor 2 positions if you like the sound of being part of this team all the way through.

Site setup, bump out and on event maintenance

Under the direction of the Production Manager. Rewarding work but it can sometimes be quite physical. Experience in site or production work an advantage but not a necessity. You’ll be working as part of a great team, doing anything from laying down and pegging shade cloth in marquees, marking aisles and setting out chairs, clearing up gum nuts, resetting chairs each morning and waste management. And when the party’s over – it’s time to do it all in reverse: stacking and counting chairs, cleaning and storing equipment, clearing the site and so on. Being on call and a willingness to embrace a festival ‘get the job done’ attitude is essential.

Hours of operation:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 7.00 am – 5.00 pm
  • Friday 6.00 am – 11.00 pm
  • Saturday 7.00 am – 11.00 pm
