SONG LYRICS | SOUND SAMPLES | REVIEWS "Patterns in the Sand" contains the original recording of the song "Green Among the Gold", winner of the Declan Affley Memorial Songwriting Award at the 1992 Australian National Folk Festival. This song has since been recorded by Geraldine and Danny Doyle on their CD "Emigrant Eyes", and by the brilliant Irish singer Sean Keane on his 1996 CD "Turn A Phrase". Other covers of the song have been recorded by Australian band Colcannon, and Texan Celtic band Beyond the Pale.
