Kieran Halpin (Ireland)
Often mentioned in the same breath as Paul Brady and Van Morrison as one of the finest Irish singer/songwriters of our time.

Zulya and the Children of the Underground (Vic)
2007 ARIA winner Best World Music Album. Sends the hairs on the back of your neck tingling to life, and the effect then spreads out into more sweeping paroxysms of delight—John Shand, SMH

Monsieur Camembert (NSW)
Django and the Hot Club of Paris get tangled up with klezmer on a hot night on the back streets of the Buenos Aires. Heaven must have one corner that grooves like this!

Jugularity (Vic)
Swinging singing bluesy gypsy comedy jug band cabaret—a complete festival on eight legs!

Kavisha Mazzella trio (Vic)
Fremantle’s favourite export, the boundary-riding, ARIA-winning musical storyteller with the shimmering voice and a stellar band.

Stiff Gins (Qld)
Picked up where Tiddas left off, with moving stories and laid-back melting harmonies.

Tonchi Mcintosh (NSW)

Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt (NSW)
Australia’s foremost Scottish-style duo, bringing a renewed spirit to the tradition’s merry jigs, wild reels and delicate airs.

The Hottentots (NSW)
Australia’s definitive coffeehouse couple meld a satchel of styles and instruments into something all their own—upbeat yet timely and moving.

Jane Saunders and Michael Fix (NSW/Qld)
Australia’s finest alt-country singer and ABC Records recording artist, with immaculate guitar backing from a virtuoso player

Andy Rigby and Friends (Vic)
